CASTING CALL FOR THE 2009 MOVIE

Ok all you prima personas, its time to shoot a Movie! If you are available for our Casting Call, drop me an Email so we can schedule a Cast Meeting for the Shoot. As many of you already know, the selection for this years Movie theme is 'Open Range', and features the shootout on Mane Street between the lawdogs and the Open Rangers. Course we will be calling our version 'Showdown'. Naturally we will work in any and all characters that show up one way or another. The Shoot will actually be filmed with our new Sony HDR-SR video gear which includes slow motion and Old Movie effect editing. The shoot will be an actual Hollywood Movie Production theme complete with director and production equipment. As we collect scenes, they will be formatted into one continuous presentation film 'Showdown'. Each segments shoot will be available, as well as the final completed 'Showdown' movie, on DVD. As usual, we will incorporate members of the crowd into the shoot via 'bit parts' and as 'Extras', and wardrobe them as need be. To the public, this presentation will be more of a Filming Event than a Show. This is a new presentation concept this year , just as 'The Fastest Gun in the West' was a unique technique last year and should be great fun. You will have a chance to get the feel of lights, camera, action! and visits to Makeup and Wardrobe Stations. We suggest you start researching Open Range soon and understand the overall theme and flow. We will still be performing 'The Fastest Gun in the West' during 2009 due to popular demand so you will have your hands full with multiple parts. Thanks, Rio.

ECONOMY SLOWDOWN

MANY OF YOU MAY BE WONDERING WHY ANNOUNCED UPCOMING EVENTS HAS SLOWED. This is due to our countries overall economic outlook. All segments of our society are going to be affected by the slump in all manner of business ventures. The slow economy will affect the entertainment industry especially hard as some corporations cannot currently schedule events~ We hope that the situation will not be long term and we can salvage our associations somewhere down the trail. Meanwhile, we are going after events that are smaller in scale as they seem to be increasing popular and more in demand than last year~

FIRST CORPORATE SHOW CONFIRMED

FIRST CORPORATE SHOW OF THE SEASON~ GOLD CAMP will be heading for the Old Miner's Camp for the first scheduled Corporate Show of the Season September 22nd. Cast has already been selected but if you are a 'Newbie' and want to volunteer to attend there still is time to check out the possibilities. 'Newbies' are required to attend at least one Corporate Show prior to being elgible to perform at Shows~

CORPORATE SHOWS STARTING~ OLD MINER'S CAMP

We were just contacted by Corporate Clients regarding our availabililty for the upcoming season. "This means that ALL MEMBERS NEED TO LET US KNOW CONCERNING THEIR AVAILABILITY for evening shows usually from 6 to 10 pm, usually weeknights, but occasional Saturday evenings(rare). If you are listed on our contact list, we will email you or phone you to obtain your confirmation. Once you confirm, usually 2 weeks in advance, you must attend. In cases of emergencies, and you cannot attend, you must let us know immediatlely. Transportation is provided but gas expenses are shared evenly with riders in your group. There is usuallly one meal provided. Any costuming upgrades will be furnished for you by Gold Camp~

MAJOR CHANGES FOR SEPTEMBER 2008
	Starting in September there will be major changes taking effect~ 'Gold Camp' will NOT BE SPONSORING 'free shows' at Pioneertown. This is due to the sharply rising cost of Liability Insurance for coverage beyond your basic Gunfighter Group Policies. 'Gold Camp' will continue to perform for any and all scheduled Corporate Events which are always protected by PROFESSIONAL LEVEL liability coverage.

	All Members must file an Independent Contractor Form with us and have it on file prior to attending Shows~ These forms can be obtained at Steve's Office Supply~

ANNUAL BAR-B-Q BASH RESCHEDULED

Our Notorious Annual Gathering of the Bunch is just around the corner~ You are welcome to bring friends and family~ Event is held at our Headquarters in Sky Harbor, The Event is being rescheduled due to the Hurricane until further notice.
